What is BTBuckets?

BTBuckets is free on-site segmentation and behavioral targeting tool.  With BTBuckets you can create user clusters based on any behavior your visitors practice on your website.

Simple Installation
Simply cut & paste a javascript tag and include this code on all your site pages to begin segmenting. Click here to see an example.

Advanced Behavior Targeting Configuration
By adopting direct marketing’s RFD (Recency, Frequency, and Duration - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFM ) model, BTBuckets created an open configuration interface to allow segment creation based on a combination of any interactions on your site

• Recency: determine in how much time users’ must have engaged in all mapped behaviors before being added to a cluster;
• Frequency: define how many times each viewer must visit each content before being added to a bucket;
• Duration: determine how long users will be kept in each cluster.

Furthermore, an open drag&drop interface allows you to map the specific behavior combination for each cluster.

Understand your buckets
BTBuckets offers metrics on number of users entering each cluster and number of users renewing in each cluster.

Easy use of data
Simply add a javascript condition and/or read your site’s first-party cookies created by BTBuckets to target your users based on their behavior.  Check out our Wiki Integration Page for examples of integrations.
